Style doesn’t have to compete with durability here, and in a few ways they line up better than people expect. Vanity design has shifted away from the cool, stark palettes of a few years ago toward warmer wood tones, floating configurations, and hardware in brushed brass, champagne bronze, or polished nickel rather than matte black. That warmer direction suits the coastal and transitional style already common in Sarasota homes, and it has a practical upside too: warm-metal hardware finishes generally hold up better against humidity and water spotting than some darker finishes do, so the current style direction and the material logic for a Florida bathroom point the same way.
